Kym Fitzpatrick is an independent fashion designer with a distinctive deconstructive and edgy approach to design. Inspired by her background in art, she designs and produces contemporary garments which are expressive and often unconventional. She believes clothing should give the power to express each individual’s own unique identity with confidence and style.

After graduating with First Class Honours from the Carmarthen School of Art (UWTSD) in 2026, she spent the following year participating in the graduate residency programme.  Kym is now in the early stages of building her own independent fashion studio and developing her first collection since completing her Fashion Design BA (hons) degree.

With a strong focus on women’s tailoring, her debut collection will feature jackets, trousers and shirts with a raw, deconstructed aesthetic. Drawing from her artistic background, each handcrafted garment will be created using a mixture of traditional and experimental pattern making techniques. Each piece will represent quality, artistry, individuality and self-expression.
